The Byzantium Working Group is a team of fifteen researchers including young scholars, assistant professors, Ph.D. candidates and students, who have formed an association to connect and extend their academic research in studying different aspects of Byzantine history and culture. Members of the Working Group are experts in a wide range of humanities and include historians, anthropologists, ethnologists, art historians, archaeologists and philologists among others.
Byzantium WG is an association, which joins together scholars who share a keen interest in the historical reality and the conceptual underpinnings of Byzantium.
